What Kampreneur is

Kampreneur is a free, bilingual South African directory of camping, caravan, 4x4 and outdoor businesses. We list businesses sourced from public directories and allow business owners to claim and update their own listings at no cost.

Directory usage

  • You may browse, search, and share directory listings for personal or commercial research.
  • You may not systematically copy, scrape, or reproduce the directory in bulk without our written permission. This includes automated fetching of listing data for a competing directory or data product.
  • We make no warranty that listing information is accurate or up to date. Always verify contact details directly with the business before visiting or booking.

Listing owner rights

  • Listing on Kampreneur is free and voluntary. We will remove any listing on request via our takedown form.
  • Claimed listings are managed by their verified owner. We do not overwrite claimed listings with scraped data.
  • By submitting or claiming a listing you confirm you have authority to represent that business and that the information provided is accurate.
  • Imported listings are marked as such. Business information is sourced from publicly available directories and is used solely to help customers find your business.

Prohibited use

  • No spam, fake listings, or misleading business information.
  • No attempts to gain unauthorised access to the admin system or another user's account.
  • No bulk scraping or automated harvesting of the directory. Our own crawler, KampreneurBot, operates under published ethical guidelines - we expect the same from users of this site.

Liability

Kampreneur is provided "as is". We are not liable for inaccurate listing information, loss or damage arising from reliance on directory data, or actions taken by businesses listed here. Use your own judgment.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance.
