About this camp
Mamoli Beach Camp offers 13 campsites, a cozy self-catering chalet for up to four guests, and two spacious beach houses (6- and 10-sleepers) in a serene part of Southern Mozambique, just north of Ponta Mamoli and the White Pearl resort. Accessible only by 4×4 or all-wheel-drive vehicles, the camp is far from the crowds of Ponta do Ouro and Ponta Malongane. Beach Access Guests can reach the beach via a scenic footpath through the forest and over a dune (30m incline). No vehicle access or parking is available at the top of the dune for campsite and chalet guests. Accommodation Beach Houses: Stunning ocean and forest views. The 10-sleeper features three queen bedrooms and a loft with four single beds. The 6-sleeper includes one bedroom (two single beds) and a loft with four single beds. Chalet: Nestled in the dune forest, 150m from the beach, it accommodates two adults and up to two children/teens. No ocean views. Camping: Semi-private, shaded sites with wash bays, solar-powered electricity (690W limit per site, available 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM), and modern ablutions with hot showers and flush toilets. Activities Fishing: Shore fishing, offshore kayak, and spearfishing (catch & release encouraged; permits required). No bottom fishing allowed. Water Sports: Snorkeling, swimming, and general beach activities. Nearby launch sites for ski boats and jet skis. Excursions: Scuba diving (Ponta Malongane), swimming with wild dolphins (Ponta do Ouro), and deep-sea fishing (Ponta Malongane & Ponta do Ouro). Strictly no beach driving is allowed.
