This small, beautiful secluded campsite is tucked away at the bottom of Riverbend along the Umtentweni riverbank. Ideal for holiday makers who are looking for a quiet get-away
Access is down a fairly steep tarred road which passes through a pretty forested hillside.
For caravans, low range towing vehicles are advised
No noise – To ensure that everybody is able to enjoy the serenity of this riverside campsite there is a strict no noise/or music policy
Electric sites all grassed and fairly level
Portable braais available
3 toilets, 3 showers and a bath
3 double sinks for washing up.
Hot and cold water
Canoes and rivercraft – You are welcome to bring & launch your own small rivercraft/canoe to enjoy the exploring river. We also have a few canoes available for hire. We advise that only small electric motors should be used on the river. The river level is dependant on whether the river mouth is open or closed. When we have had a lot of rains in the area the river level will probably be low whereas in the dry winter months the river level is likely to be high.
