Olive Tree Campsite is basic and rustic. Situated on a field alongside a period stream and below a colourful rock-formation cliff, it has a beautiful old Wild Olive tree under which to camp, a stone braai, campfire place and washing-up sink. The unique ablution shed is rustic and eclectic with a flush toilet and hot shower. We guarantee privacy and exclusivity by allowing only one group of visitors at a time. There is no limit to the size of the group. Unlimited firewood is provided free of charge. Guests are asked to bring their own drinking water and all of their own camping equipment (please note: we do not supply any camping gear).
No Pets, Firearms or Quad bikes allowed
No cell phone reception avalible at the campsite or cottage
There is solar electricity available at the cottage
The campsite has no electricity points – food/beverages can be kept cool at the farmhouse on request

The dirt road to our farm is unfortunately in poor condition and although a 4×4 is not necessary, low clearance vehicles are not recommended.
We are 1/1.5 hour’s drive on the dirt road from Kareedouw.
Our farm is not suitable for daily trips to and from the tar/coast
